Leadership often reveals itself in unexpected ways, even in the realm of programming. My experience as a leader in a team project during my Object-Oriented Programming class at the University of Central Florida exemplifies this notion. In this essay, I will delve into my leadership role, the significant challenges it presented, and the rewarding outcomes that emerged from it.

The project entailed collaborating with two classmates to develop a comprehensive database system. In this context, I took on the leadership role, responsible for coordinating our efforts and ensuring project success.

The most challenging aspect of assuming this leadership role was managing differences in perspective and fostering effective teamwork. Notably, my teammate had different ideas about our initial design for the console menu.
